22 dasher ?

swed6.5

X1ON
looking for advice, my new rifle 1st load developement test started yesterday. 22 dasher.250 kneck with a29"tube, i ran out of powder at the range working on finding a decent load, using moly90grain berg vlds pushed in .020 and reloader17 was able to hit my targeted vel of 3100, i have very little primer washout and no presure signes yet, i know im runnin it hotter than some would recomend, that was at 33.8 grains. at at 34gr it pushed to 3140fps without any problems these were all 3 shot ave velocities, it only had 8 fps spreds at 33.8 and 33.9 but the 40 fps jump of 1 tenth a grain makes me wonder am i to close to another easily achievable node, i got till next sunday to think about it. any sugestions will be appriciated, ps the worst group with the tuner brake off was .460" once i get the load i want i will start playing with the tuner ring.

My 22 dasher is rem action 30'' select match shilen 1/8 twist this thing is bad it loves 75gr vlds 450 cci primers N-135 powder I shot out to 500yds with amazing accuracy. This is my groundhog match rifle.

My main intent with this 22dasher is 600y benchrest/and want for a second backup 1k rifle, its new to me and most of my budy's at the manatee range. Im afraid she might not show hits to well on the 1k gongs do to lighter bullets on a bad mirage day its hard to see any misses in the dirt.
Oh well if i dont try it I will nver know

I dont think youll have a problem seeing your hits I see my hits at 500yds without a problem.GOOD LUCK that dasher is going to surpise you with 75 or 80 gr buulets.

STACY

this round is going to be fun ,
when i was doing my load development for best groups at 200yds, i had just enough ammo for 6 groups. i was happy until a lazzy shooter next to me decided his ammo would do well in my target,; it seams to be happy at 34 grains of rl17 and a 90gr vld. and it did cut 1.5 minutes off elevation from my 6br at 565 yds. next weekend will get a little more testing done

I found some of my accuracy problems deminished once iI tightened neck tension, i wasn't getting a good jam, .244 bushing is given me just over a .001 tension, and lukily the groups seam to loose all verticle once i played with the barrel tuner, as of now it likes 34gr. of rl17 with a .020 jam and a molly vld at 3140 fps. my 8 year old can keep some nice bug holes at 100y.
Next week we will try her at 1k
