Who says a 62 gr eld vt won't hold up beyond 3300 fps ????
Huh .
I was just launching them at over 3800
No issues in a 7 twist .

I was just testing velocity capabilities and not shooting for groups ... just aiming and shooting trying to get chrony to read. How did they group?
I got them to 3800 on a Garmin Xero too but groups were a mess.I was just testing velocity capabilities and not shooting for groups ... just aiming and shooting trying to get chrony to read.
I'd buy a .22 Creed for using, either, the 75 gr. ELD-M's or 69 gr. TMK's for, Yotes in, the 3,400 /3,500 fps Range.I just graphed my 22 Creed with RL-17 and 75 ELD-M's at 3520, 20 FPS over what the Hornady load data said would be. It is certainly fun to shoot.
If you don't mind me asking where were you on powder charge with RL 17 and did you see any pressure signs at where you were at?What is your barrel length?
My barrel supplier stays happy....The only downside to the 22CM is barrel life. Just means you buy more barrels
41.6 RL -17 Velocity was 3520 No pressure signs. Hornady lists that load at 3500.If you don't mind me asking where were you on powder charge with RL 17 and did you see any pressure signs at where you were at?
Thank you Sir, you certainly have my interest in a 22 creedmoor that's for sure.46.1 RL -17 Velocity was 3520 No pressure signs. Hornady lists that load at 3500.
I have a 22 Creed and a 22-250 AI. They shoot nearly identical velocities with identical charges of RL-17, 3200 + or-. 7 deer and antelope so far and none of them have taken a step with 88 ELD-M's 88 yards to 370. I'm a fan.Thank you Sir, you certainly have my interest in a 22 creedmoor that's for sure.
If you don't mind me asking what is your barrel length and what powder are you using to get velocities like that?I have made several shots this year with my 22 Creedmoor that were just not possible with my 204 and 22-250 1-14 twist. I use 80.5 Bergers at 3400 fps. It is deadly to 1000 plus if I can get a range and they stop. I’ve shot 12 as of today and my longests are 780, 630, 584 and 404. It is a game changer.
