I’m looking to do a custom rifle build in 22 creedmoor. I want to do it on a budget still after quality equipment but I’d like to stay under 2k rifle alone. Anybody have any suggestions on fairly priced but good quality parts?

One idea: Origin action and any one of the number of prefits out there for it and a Stocky’s carbon seconds stock. The seconds are perfectly fine as is for a field rifle and can be finished out and painted fairly easily if wanted.

Weight 9.5 lbs, Accuracy,.. "BugHoles" in the 2's and 3's W/ Match grade Bullets, up to, 1/2 MOA for 80gr. Varmint.
This one's in, 6 XC and,.. a "Cheapie" Build

I will use, the SAME Components ( Except, HAVE, Action, Stock and Timney Trigger ) to, build, a .22 Creed with, a 1-9 Twist, RemAge, Criterion Barrel on an Existing Rem 700, .22-250 Rem. Rifle that, I already have.
I will Buy, a smaller diameter, lighter, Criterion "Sporter" Barrel for, a repeating, "Walking Varmint" Rifle.
You might look for, a USED, Shot Out, Rem 700 Rifle with, .308 sized Bolt Face,.. IF,.. found, CHEAP, enough !
Building, a "True Custom",.. AIN'T gonna Be,.. CHEAP !

I have a M700 single shot, Brux 8 twist, laminated stock, Timney trigger. Well under $2k. Including the reamer and gauges. It can be done.

ETA: I still keep looking at the Mack Bros single shot actions, but haven’t convinced myself to get one. They are $775, and in stock. Northland has Remage barrels in 22CM, seems like 350-400 ish

I have built (2) 22 Creedmoor rifles using Savage Target actions and Urbanrifleman barrels.
They both shot well under 1 MOA at 500 yards.

Tikka makes an 8 twist 22/250. Stainless for under $900 blued about $750. Have it rechambered to 22 Creed, way under budget, Tikka barrels shoot. 22 Creeds don't last long so you will be re-barreling soon anyway.
