What is the go to 22 CF barrel?

I know they are all good but what is everyone going to right now?

Thanks.

I've had excellent results with Kreigers, Harts, Liljas and PacNor. Several friends have Bartlien 22 CF's that are very good.

Not sure what your useage or requirements are. Keep in mind that the barrel and chambering is the heart of any good rifle.

All my aftermarket 223 Rem bolt rifle barrels are Douglas, and I am completely satisfied with them.

I have one Hart barrel on a 243 Win, and I can find no fault with it.

My first carbon fiber barrel was just last week a Bergara BXR , I shot this group 5 shots with eley black box match at only 25 yards, I'm thinking 1/2 moa at 50 easily , just a small caliber hunting gun, sold all my 1022's they only shoot well after dumping another $500 in them , plus the cost of the rifle , just not worth it anymore.

Not knowing your accuracy and performance goals; I'll 'add' that I've had great luck with Wilson barrel blanks which have performed well chambered by a few smiths. Separating the barrel performance from chamber machining and rifle build is an ongoing subject here as it's really dependent on more than just the barrel. That said, I'm not a short range bench rest competitor, which is what I'd assume is your goal? For varminting, and XC match shooting; all I can say is that my built rifles outperform me, for whatever that's worth; so I'm happy to spend more time at the range to hone the fundamentals. What's the engineering phrase for project planning, "cost, quality, schedule; pick two?"

Ok, that's it for now, thanks for reading; I'm tagged in and looking forward to seeing others recommendations as well.
