I hate to even mention Green Moutain Barrels. I get blanks in the caliber and length I want, ship them off to MY smith and have them chambered and turned to my specs.
Shipping WAS within weeks BUT if the word gets out, that could increase.
The first one I ordered showed in in DAYS. Liked what I got so I turned around and order another and it also showed up in days. Mostly smaller calibers.
Every Green Mountain barrel, when chambered and threaded, turned out to produce bug holes.
Wilson barrels have been said to be JUNK because they WERE NOT lapped?
Needed a barrel for a 6.8 wildcat project. Didn't want to spend BIG $$$$ on a barrel, have it turned, threaded and chambered and NOT like the final results.
Was turned onto a couple of Wilson .270 barrels up for bids. Bid on both but was only able to get one. Had already been contoured, smaller than I would have liked but I shipped it out anyway for threading and chambering. Turned out to be one of my most accurate barrels.
So far, Wilson, Pac Nor, Shilen, Douglas, Green Mountain and a few more names I can't even remember anymore. No issues with ANY of them. Every one produced bug holes for me. YMMV. You pays your money and you takes your chances.
Guess if they're NOT on THE LIST, they're not worth having??
Just so you know, Wilson and Douglas have been around for YEARS and have barreled and re barreled a BUNCH of guns!! They may not be on THE LIST but, I'll take my chances any day!!
