22-6.5x47 Lapua?

Just got my 47L reamers Built a 6x47L .248nk for my self with a Broughton #6 12twist for 65-80gr varmit bullets havent had time to shoot it yet. Gona build a 6.5x47L .291 nk for a budy next week. but when I orderd my reamers from pt&g they sent me 2 6.5x47L I was thinking about sending one back and having it regound into a 22x47L. I was thinking more on the lines of a 14twist 52gr varmint rifle. Has anyone tryed one if so what kind of results are you geting

I think you guys need to re-think your barrel length. I started out with a 1/9 Savage barrel@ 24' and could get 3550 fps. with 69 SMK's. I then went to a 26' 1/8 Douglas and got 3650 fps. with 65 SGK's. I tryed some 90 gr. SMK's and got 3350 fps. with no high pressure signs with Rel 22.
