22-250ai ?

Calib, how much do you want for it? has it been mounted?

My most accurate load in my 22-250 Savage 12 twist is a 69 Grain Nosler custom Comp. with varget.

Must be shot @ 4000+ elevation to make it all work. Won't work @ sea level.

With a faster load (ai) you should be able to shoot 69's at sea level?

I've been using 42.5 grains or RL22 in mine with the 75 grain Amax. I do plan to test H4350 and RL17 soon.

skunce keep me posted on the reloading efforts as i will be searching for a good load once my barrel gets here. i like reloader 22, but i would like to get away from it since all i hear is that it is temp sensitive, batches vary a lot.

H4831sc works well in mine with the 75gr Amax also tried RL22 and 4350 I got higher velocities with 4350 but the H4831 had better accuracy BTW my new Pacnor 8 twist .224 barrel will be here in a couple days then off to get chambered and fit to my action, just in time my old 8 twist 22-250AI barrel is about toasted.

Did you happen to record a round count on the old barrel?

i have reloader 22, 4831sc may have to get some 4350 what length barrel are you working with?

28" on the rifle I currently am shooting the one I am building will be a 26"

Right around 1500 it still shoots but nowhere near as good as it used to I'm going to set the barrel back and see if I can get some more out of it

Right off the top of my head I think around 3300 Ive had it faster but this load was super accurate

gonna be putting my coyote partners 22-250ai together this weekend, cant wait to see how well this thing shoots. now i just need my barrel to get here so i can load up my heavies and see how that thing shoots.

What primers are you going to try? My 22-250 AI only likes the CCI-BR primers...

I haven't been on the forum much lately, 20 hour work days doesn't leave much time for internet but cci-br2 primers are EXACTLY!!!! the same primer as the cci-200's EXCEPT for the little B on the face of the primer, JFYI :)
