22-250ai shortened to AR mag length?

Daydreaming here guys, but has anyone shortened a 22-250ai enough to get it to feed from an AR mag (2.26" oal)? Seems like if .25" or so was trimmed and the shoulder moved back accordingly, it would be viable. I'm thinking it would have something like 30% more capacity than the 6.8 SPC. Thinking you could design it around the 80 gr class bullets.

.476" bolts are being commercially produced for the 458 socom, and brass could be formed from any of a host of cartridges. It should run in a standard upper too, unlike the WSSM cartridges.

Any thoughts on such a wildcat?

Thanks for the input fellas, God bless,

Adam

Your cartridge already exists... the 22BR - cases are ready, and reamers are ready - no fuss, no muss, get it chambered and shoot it.

With the 40 degree shoulder I would think feeding would probably be a problem for the ackley.
