22-250 feeding out of AICS magazines

Does anyone have experience with this set up? I am considering adding CDI bottom metal to my Model 70 pushfeed but I'd like to have some reassurance it will feed properly prior to doing so.

I am running 22-250 out of my AICS mags, if I hesitate right where it drops out of the feed lips with a full mag I typically have the round pop up and nose down under the feed ramp. Comparing the feed lips on my factory Savage magazines the 22-250 feed lips were approximately a 1/4" longer than the 308 mag. Other than that I have had good luck with the AICS mags. If I had more issues I will make some longer feed lips, but it has not been enough to cause me to do that.
