22-250 40 grain loads

Gents,
I just loaded some 40 grain Nosler Varmageddon pills using TAC. Also some 52 grain Sierra HPBT
over H380. They are for a VLS and a VSSF. Has anyone used either of these loads
with success? Thank you in advance for your time. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes! H380 and a 52gr sierra will shoot very good.

40 grain Varmageddon's and Tac work great in mine. Added bonus is they are very explosive on gophers.

40 grain Varmageddon's and Tac work great in mine. Added bonus is they are very explosive on gophers.

I shot the 40/TAC load today. 4 of 5 touching I was the 5th shot. Rifle shoots well. The trigger needs to be a bit lighter also. Now I'd like to slow it down a little, 3720 is too fast for me-that was 33.5 grains. I prefer to be in the 2800 to 3050 area. Do you think I can get there using TAC?
