22 250 1 in 9 twist

Hi i would like to shoot 65 to 80 grain bullets in a savage mod.12lrpv 22 250 with a 1 in 9 twist any of you guys have any loads thanks

For 80gr bullets you will need a 1:8 twist. I think with a 22-250 you should be able to run a 75gr Amax and a 1:9 twist but that would be about as far as it goes.

H-4350 and the 75 gr A-max will make you happy.
Mines a Ackley so I'll not print the load for it....

In my Savage 22-250 LRPV 1:9, I have had excellent results with I4064.
33.4 gr I4064 with a Sierra 69 gr HPBT bullet yields approx 3370 fps.
33 gr I4064 with a Sierra 69 gr HPBT bullet yields approx 3335 fps.
The pattern with 33.4 gr was just slightly better - but both were excellent in my rifle..... your results may vary.
Naturally, work up to the 33.4 gr load.
