22-250 1-9 twist

Just got a Shilen barrel 22-250 1-9 twist to replace a savage factory barrel on a model 12 VLP. Does any one have any suggestions for a accuracy load for the 1-9 Twist. Thanks.

75 grain A-max and H-4350 will get you where you want to be....
Russian mag primers are a plus.......

A 60 grain V-Max with 23.5 grains of H-335 shoots very good in my 1-8 twist Tikka.

I've gone as high as 80 grain SMKs in my 1 - 8 twist 22-250 they did ok with 4350 at 33.4gr. They were glass flat to 300 yards though. 75 gr Moly A-maxs with 4350 34gr were very good and the 69 gr SMKs were one little bitty hole with Vihtavuori 560 powder 35gr.
