22-204 put down the Coyotes!

I am not familiar with the .22-204 cartridge, but I am curious. Can you please explain what advantages it offers over a .223 or other similar cartridges?

If you search posts by Alf on his 22-204 you will be a believer. The 30 degree shoulder is one of my favorite attributes of the 204 case and it’s longer length is appreciated as well. Granted the differences may not be huge but better is good in my book.223 is plain vanilla 22-204 is chocolate chip cookie dough both are good but depending on your taste buds one is definitely better o_O

Lots of color variation in those top three.
The one closest to the tripod looks like a cross with a dog. (I've seen a few of those.)
A 222 Magnum it is not!

22-204 is alot more than a 223. The speeds im getting with 28.5-29 grain of powder are 22-250 speeds.
I know there will be several people tell me im over pressure and they just aint been around a 22-204. Ive loaded my winchester brass over 6 times and counting now and primer pockets are tight and case heads are on size! Bolt opens with little finger!

It hammers coyotes even the 40 gr Nosler Ballistic tips at 3800 fps which is a light load for that bullet puts them down with authority!

Im shooting 52 Berger match target bullets right now and they perform very well on coyotes!

I will always have a 22-204 around my place for coyote work. Its a wonderful cartridge and i thank many on this site for helping me get into that round. Absolute Amazing Caliber!
