.22 100 yard accuracy ?

We all have that wallet group . I'm curious How well everybody's quality rifles are shooting for a series of say 5 groups in good conditions .

I just shot these 6 groups with my Douglas barrel Time Precision BR gun. My Douglas barrel schuetzen rifle by CPA shoots a similar size groups.

Should I be happy with this or is there more work to be done ?

The average was .64.

Bottom groups I held the same point of aim each. On the upper one I was moving the scope around to zero between groups. They were shot and rather cold conditions just slightly above freezing.

Statistically 10 round groups are better. Anything under an inch, conditions and shooter dependent is good, anything under .5 is fantastic.

Shot these groups a little while back first time out since my injuries. Tested a strap on stock pack on my factory cz 457 mtr. 100 yards top 3 in the score ring includes cold clean bore. Makes me smile everytime i shoot this rifle. Just random ammo nothing lot tested yet. Largest group measured .744 outside to outside i think i was having a great day.

Unless you are one of those few that buys their ammo by lot# for the year, I'd say that you are having a phenomenal year so far. Those groups at 100 are way better than most. Six groups and all under an inch, awesome
I have 2 cases of the same lot of this Eley Match. It's not sorted or weighed or anything fancy like that.

I agree on 10 shot groups but if you shoot multiple 5 shot groups there's not much difference in accuracy evaluation. What it will show you with cast bullets and 22 rf is a point of impact shift typically due to bore condition( is my opinion.) Easier to get *one* lucky 5 shot group but you don't get a lucky 10 shot group.

That's why I hate the ten shot groups at the cast bullet matches.I just can't get lucky....

If you look in the CBA fouling shot magazine a couple years ago I did an article on the 10 mm revolver and I was shooting a few 50 shot groups. It was sort of eye opening but I was amazed at how well it held up.

Yeah, not really the same thing. The folks I'm talking about get INVITED to the test facility before the new lots for the year are released to the general public. Then they buy $10k of a specific lot or two and that keeps them in the competition for the year.

That's some fine shooting. Sounds like a great arrow/Indian team effort.

Which ammo maker?

Since this has come up on both forums lately, I was looking at match results for ASSRA. Looks like to be competitive at 100 yards it under .5”, often closer to .25” in national matches. At 200 yards 1” +/-.

There are enough 250’s shooting for score, where 3/4 MOA or less 10 shot groups seem fairly common.

5 shot records for groups are,
.199” 100 yards
.729” 200 yards

Seem to be more and more recognizable names on both forums all the time.

Rimfire ? Or Centerline?

These are the records I looked at. Screenshot_20220125-061251_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20220125-061313_Chrome.jpg
