I've come to the conclusion that 0.002" is just not enough for the .338LM.

Glad to help! John has wanted to have these out for a while but we’ve been busy and there was not a good way to mark them in an efficient manner. The laser in-house has made this Possible! John is the guy to thank for these! Also just to let you know we have a companion product to these about to be let out and released! I’ll let you know!

Just ordered the one I need , ( .3075 ) and spoke with a very nice lady at 21st . She explained to me that the $8.00 shipping fee was for priority mail cost , so there would be a tracking number on the pkg. Makes sense to me ....I only ordered one mandrel , but it someone was ordering several , or a full set , that's a lot of money if it gets "lost" in the mail . Great people to deal with .

Thanks for your order. I wish we were currently set up for a reliable way to ship at a cheaper cost. Many of the larger companies negotiate shipping costs. We pay the same as anyone else to reliably ship. We will look into cheaper options for the future though.

I observed erratic velocity ES with my .338LM and theorized it might be due to insufficient neck tension. Using the 0.3350" mandrel got my groups from .61 MOA previous best down to .51 MOA new best. I bought 0.3340" to 0.3355." I guess my rifle just likes that .003" interference fit.

It's great to have a theory. It's better to be able to prove or disprove it.
