21st Century primer pocket uniformer setup

Hello all, I’m looking for guidance on setting up my primer pocket uniformer and figured this would be the best place to ask.

My question is once I get the uniformer adjusted flush to the case head, how far back in should I adjust and begin cutting? I believe each hash mark is .002, if I’m reading the website correct.

This particular brass is all from a box of factory loaded Hornady ammo recently fired.

Thanks.

I use the Sinclair solid carbide primer pocket uniformers, and there is no adjustment. Here are the measurements:

SR/SP 0.122" +0.002 -0.001
LR 0.134" -0.001

This may help you decide:

Myself would set it to my desired depth:
LR - 0.132"
SR - 0.122"
And likely that I would never adjust it other then those depths.

Dmoran is right on. That is where I have mine set. Lock it down and you are good to go! Hash marks are .001” increments within +/- .0002”.

Thanks
