21st century lathe setup question

Highly recommend this one. Only one I know of this cheap with adjustable speed knob on the trigger. It's not cordless but couple this with a $14 foot peddle from Harbor Freight and you'll have 2 hands to work with and really speed up your nk turning. Actually got this tip from this site a few years back. I have to say one of the cheapest/best tips I've gotten here that really makes a big convenient difference:)

I use a Dayton right angle gear motor to turn now. When I used a drill, I liked the ones with the speed control switch on the trigger. Another thing that might make them a little better is to steel wool them while spinning. It takes away the little ridges left by cutter. Matt

Recently upgraded my 21st century lathe to the motorized version. What a piece of art. The finish on the brass and consistently is even better than before! Also, cleaning jag and priming tool is a great addition!
