Both will be shot off the bench and used for the rat patch. 24 or 26-inch guys?

Some barrels lose more speed than others. What's rule of thumb, 25 FPS an inch?
There really is no rule of thumb on small cals your dealing with 18- 25 grains of powder not 60-80 or more. Some barrel are just faster than others can easily be 25 fps. What's rule of thumb, 25 FPS an inch?
Or just make it easy go 24" with both.I'm liking what you and HillbillyLongRifle said. Do the 20P with a 24" and the 20VT with a 22". Be a little better balanced too, I think.
22 1/2"How short? I hear you on looks.
I have decided to do a 24" on the VT and 26" on the P. I'm chasing a little more weight off the bench.Mike
I have been pondering same thing and my thoughts were 22” for a VT since my 204R is 24” and my TAC is 30”
