204 Ruger LOADS

I do not want to sound ungrateful, HOWEVER I am interested in RELOADER 10 and W-748, NOTHING ELSE.

thanks,

Ed

A little searching on 204 Ruger .com will yield you R-10X recipes. The first load I ever developed was 29.1gns of 748 behind a 35 Berger. 2.265col

Thanks, jo1 for the 748 recipe.

I have all of the printed 204 Ruger data, however, as you know it is conservative, and I am looking for the real thing.

29.1 should be roughly max charge if there were data for the 35 Berg. I did try 748 with WS2 coated 35's and went quite a bit higher seeing improved accuracy.
I'm using Viht 135 these days. If the manufacturers data is too mild for you try Viht. There is no data, hence no invisible line to jump over.
Be safe out there.

Edit to add
I employ the Audette ladder system frequently. I usually load a little over max just to bracket the entire range. Some powders can be pushed a little harder. SOME CAN NOT. BLC-2 is one that showed rapid pressure increases in my gun. There is no shortcut to load development. Start low and work up.

Here's some Data from Berger Bullets....I've attached it as a Word document.....George
