I’ve never really been a sling shooter. I understand the P for palma, and A for any. When I noticed the F, and that group wasn’t included for match winner. I wondered if maybe that group was allowed a bipod, like F Tactical, because that is a class shot on the bigger target vs F class smaller target. Just a possible guess.

No, as stated the A- any rifles shot irons on Saturday match, If you used your optic or non 223/308 in the Palma and on Saturday, the gave you the F designation. LOL - for Failing to use irons.

In addition to Congratulating all who attended and those who worked hard to make this another
successful SWN, I would like to send out Congratulations to all those who shot well had fun and were successful in their results.
A special Congrats to a friend Cal Waldner from Canada who won the F Open Mid Range Grand Aggregate overall;
Finished first Master in the 1000 yard Agg and First Master in the Grand Agg.
Am sure High Master card will be on the way.
Wish I could have been there to see some of my old friends too.

They probably aren’t being turned in. My wife tied the woman’s national record last year at Nationals and still hasn’t received anything. ‍

Shooting with Bob Gill several times a year and at SWN, he is not human to achieve what he does with a 223 and irons! The man is a model of staying steadfast to his condition, and being able to pick the right condition! Truly a first class gentleman, as well.

Congrats to all the winners!

I can say I set some new personal records at SWN'26. A new personal lowest score at 1000, to be honest, lol!

Having been terribly sick with a respiratory infection just two days before leaving, I was not in great shape as I rolled into town. Immediately went to Walgreens to get medicine and continued recovery all week. By Saturday I was so exhausted and worn out I just couldn't keep up through an entire day.

The physical stamina required to maintain mental acuity, precision and decision making abilities for 5 days is vastly underrated. Who knew a sport of laying still for 30 minutes followed by sitting still for another could be so demanding, lol!

We've all got 1 year to up our game, better get started!

After shooting on Sunday the last ones to shoot and that wind switching like it was I’m thinking about going the 300 wsm route and lob 220’s. Lol. I never shot in anything like that before. I shot a 188 I was thinking that dismal display of shooting. Then I heard other people talk about their scores on that relay I didn’t feel so bad.

Yeah, that one got me too. On top of being exhausted before that string and not being able to wrap my head around the 3 different shooting conditions switching every 9-1/2 seconds, I got frustrated as well. I dropped more points than you and just said F-it.
