No I'm talking in the valley Alex, in 1992 I saw it snow in Marion 20 miles west of Kalispell a little boy built a snowman August 31rst!If elevation counts, i have seen it in August too. In the valley theres only 3 months i have not seen it. Its going to 30 below tonight in Dillon. Theres something wrong with me.

Frames 3 and 5 are dug out of the ice, and a reasonable spot in front of 4 shoveled out for sighters. In case anyone without a woman bossing them around would like to use the range.

I used to live a couple miles down from the top of Macdonald Pass, on the East side. The elevation was 5280' give or take, depending on which map you read. My folks would come out every summer, usually at the end of July/first of August. Dad would always P&M about how hot it was, and how he suffered driving all the way from Syracuse in it. The morning of August 2nd, in the late 1980s or early 1990s, we woke up to 2"-3" of fresh snow. I couldn't resist asking him all day long if he was cool enough, or if he wanted to make a snow man, etc. He left the next day.I've seen it snow every month in Montana except August.
