2023 Colorado State Championship 600 yard IBS Benchrest Tournament

Tom mentioned in a casual conversation that he would like to see the Nats held at Western Colorado. That night, just after midnight, I woke in a cold sweat. I could not get it out of my head, so I wrote down my thoughts at 0200 so I could move on.

Once we replace more benches so we have 20+ solid firing points…… bring it. I have no desire to measure that many groups, I’ll be hiring someone for that!

Clay, Tim and crew ran a great match, for two years I have wanted to attend this match, it just never worked out, I just took the time this year, glad I did, when I saw those elk plaques he posted a few years ago I knew I wanted one.

The trip was fun, the success was, I got to meet new people, put faces with the folks I talk to on the phone. Hang out, eat dinner with ol friends.
Like Schatz says, the wind can blow em together just as easy as apart, I’m fairly postive that is what happened.

Jim Frank, the light sweatshirt felt comfortable for sure, the natives all had t shirts, I must be a puss

@Mulligan I was driving home today and a thought occurred to me; that it is worth sharing what our Closest to the X winner did on day one. I will leave the name out. But donating that entire days pot to the target crew gals was awesome to see. Shows you there’s a great type of folk still out there, even in todays crazy messed up world.
