2022 SWN Program

Several people have asked me about the program. Here it is. It is also on the Desert Sharpshooters website.

Also in the program it says "There will be a barbeque at the completion of firing on Saturday in the Indoor Range, pending COVID guideline and restrictions. (Approx. 5:30 PM)." Due to the COVID guidelines and restrictions at the range we will not be having the barbeque, but we are looking at other options.

Without the BBQ,
Will there still be the raffles, door prizes and awards?

Or will this be similar to the Nationals or state championship where you shoot and then gather around the scoreboard and call it a day?

:rolleyes:Yes, we will still have raffles, prizes and awards. We will also probably have shooters gather around the score boards at the end of the day and then go home. We're disappointed to not have the dinner too, but we're doing what we have to this year. We're trying to make the best of the situation, to make sure the shooters all have an enjoyable week. We'll still have an awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon.

The reality is the SWN is run by a very small group of volunteers within the Desert Sharpshooters. We know that certain parts of the match are different than they used to be. Some of that is intentional and some is out of necessity. Our major goal is to keep the atmosphere of the match, even as some of the details change.
