The F Class State Championship for the State of Tennessee will be held at the Dead Zero Shooting Park on Sept. 25th and 26th 2021. Registration will be at 8 am on Saturday and at 9 am on Sunday. The course of Fire will be 3X1000 on Saturday and 2X 1000yds on Sunday.
The Normal Match Director is out sick and another shooter has stepped forward to run this match for the shooters.

This match is not a NRA registered or approved match. It is a TNSSA sanctioned match. This means no scores will be submitted to the NRA. This match will be conducted as we are all accustomed. Awards will be given to the top three shooters in F-Open and F-TR. You must be a resident of TN to qualify for the state awards. Non Tn residents are eligible for overall awards and individual match awards. All matches will consist of twenty rounds for record with unlimited sighters. Match fee is $70 for both days. $40 for one day. Any questions, please give me a shout.

Based on the round count it will be eligible for V2 points.

Any match at 1000 with 85 shots and 5 shooters for first relay qualifies I think. You might have to send results in yourself.

I was going to try to make this match. But, unfortunately it's the same weekend as the Ky/In State LR match.

I looked at the V2 page, I think it’s no problem for V2 series points that the TN match isn’t approved or reported. V2 just says it wants the qualifiers to be run under NRA or international rules, which it would be.

Mike, I'm sorry you can't make it. I hope some TR shooters show up. As for V2 this match will meet the necessary criteria. I will submit a spreadsheet, so rest easy men. As Mike stated, this match is open to any f-class shooter. For those shooters that haven't shot at Dead Zero, and wish to attend, please go to their website and sign the online waver now. Doing so will save a lot of time and get us on the firing line sooner.

This is the TN Fclass Championship. It has been pointed out to me that the TN LR Championship is held at Oak Ridge.

Just to clarify this misleading statement, for the sake of anyone interested in participating this match, that is not a resident of TN. Overall and individual match awards were given to out state residents. If needed, please go to Midsouth Marksmans website and view 2018 results for verification!
As previously stated, overall and individual match awards will be presented to non- residents.

All you have to do is either win a match or the grand agg and you get a prize. I live in Indiana and have several over the years. Even Cochran has a few. Lol

Skip, you make a viable point. For someone willing to travel quite some distance for a match is expensive. Without going into detail, I totally understand and agree with where you are going with this.Thanks for opening my eyes. There is no guarantee a non resident will place 1st, 2nd or 3rd overall, but I am willing to personally eat the cost of a few awards, should there be no one to earn them.
