Big thanks to @woodgrain and @Rtheurer for stepping up and running this match because otherwise there wouldn’t have been one. The hard work showed in everything from etargets that ran smoothly to the match being finished in a very timely fashion each day. Russell really stepped up and made sure that overall agg winners (1st-3rd) had a nice trophy to take home regardless of state in addition to the resident trophies. He also had high x count medals as well, and a 5 shot, no sighter match that was held just after the completion of the state match. I know in years past the overall trophy issue has driven some folks away has but it has changed, so next year come join us, we had a blast and dead zero is always a fun and challenging place to shoot.

Worth the trip. Sausages in the clubhouse were good. Coffee was good. Didn’t feel like I had been chopping wood all day so all I wanted to do was sleep afterwards. Covered and Astroturfed firing line. 11/10 highly recommended.

Plus, the medals spin in the middle!
