2021 IBS 1K Nationals

Congratulations Jason, Steve, James, Glenn, Mike, David, and Jason again lol. You guys pulled through on some of the trickier relays, as well as take advantage of the couple decent ones.

@Ga. Dawg I haven't yet discovered anything, hopefully it isn't something that rots, or something my old lady shouldn't find! Lol

Congrats Jason! It was fun to score all the targets and see those great targets. The winners shot extremely well in the conditions given. Fun time and great company. Thanks to all those who traveled to get here. It was great to meet new people and see old friends.

I want to throw in a congrats to the winners also for some good shooting. A unfortunate break for the ones on the last relay of the match that got the Blast from mother nature. But that's just part of the game. A big thank-you to Shawn Williams who I know did more work than anyone taking this match on and making it work on short notice. The rest of the crew running the line and the score shed, Tom, Jim, David , Alex, Glenn, Darin and everybody else. The pit crew. Justin, Carson, Ken, and John Nash who was was running targets to the shed. Job well done. Next thank-you to our sponsors that help us out. Top of list

Defiance Machine. They support our lunches all season long, Mark and Angie putting in a lot work feeding us while shooting at the same time. Defiance also made a nice contribution for the canopy rent, which was very expensive, as well as some action certificates.

Vortex Optics. They help us out with the Golden Eagles we award to the winners of our 6 match group aggregate in our club as well as the prize table.

Lilja Barrels. Carson covers us on our barrels for the 6 match score aggregate as well as the prize table.

Vapor Trail Bullets. Thanks for dinner !!

Great post Lonnie, you were amazing running all the stats and scores so quickly and efficiently. This was my first IBS match and I must say all of you put on an incredibly well run event. It was obvious how much work and planning went into this from everyone and it paid off in a smooth and enjoyable event for all. Thank you everyone for being such great hosts, and also all the sponsors for their generosity and support.

Lonnie, I just finished putting the 2,150 miles behind me and pulled in my garage so I had a minute to reply to your post. Thanks to everyone you mentioned, but I want to thank you as well.

The match went so well that I doubt most people would have even known it was accepted by the club on short notice. It was well coordinated, efficiently run and professionally handled. You have a great group of guys there and I love the way they all like to push the envelope searching for the utmost accuracy testing pretty much anything and everything. I wish I lived closer but I should retire in a few years so maybe I’ll be making more matches then.

It was great to meet forum members to put a name and face to the posts I see them make here. It was also great to make new friends and to see friends I only see once a year if that.

In the end, we all shoot because we like to shoot and compete but the friendships we make along the way are even more important so I want to thank everyone who helped pull this off! Great job, you should all be proud.

Dave.

@ Dave Way I like your report on the Bulletin and that's one of the best photos I've seen.

I have corrected the HG/?/LG thing and it is attached. Also the individual relays (condensed) with SOY on the right side and the SOY points files.

David
