I dont want this to come across the wrong way. But I do believe that sponsored shooters equipment should be noted somehow. Thats not to say theres anything wrong with sponsors or that those shooters would not buy the same parts at full retail. But since the whole point of equipment lists is to promote the best, I think its best to incentivize making the best not just spending the most in sponsorships. Not to say thats what is happening in F-class, but it is in other shooting disciplines.
My team makes me better!the whole jersey thing, what does it get you question? would be interesting to hear
Thats not where I was going with that. In PRS for example, some guys are not only sponsored with equipment, but paid a salary. This would not be good for our sport, because it does not promote steps forward in the accuracy department. The problem is that manufacturers see sales shifting to companies that are putting out lower quality equipment with big advertising budgets. Trust me, they take note of this and will eventually follow suite. In some cases its already happening.the whole jersey thing, what does it get you question? would be interesting to hear
No 7mmRAHM???Here is the F Open Cartridge list
You might should try oneWhat is a blake machine barrel- does he make barrels now?
Yep only 3 people reported that they used an X Ring stock in the equipment list. Kind of cool that those same three people went 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in F Open.http://forum.accurateshooter.com/at...uipment-list-responses-fo-top-10-pdf.1175475/
I guess X-ring Is in the others class

FYI there could have been more because not everyone filled out the equipment list.
Knowing the top equipment and cartridges used is indeed very helpful, thank you kindly for all that work. But most importantly how did this all translate into results on the target? For example, did the straight 284W dominate the winners' podium in F Open or did the 7 SAUM eclipse it even though many less used it?
I noticed in an earlier comment that the X Ring stock took 1st, 2nd & 3rd in FO yet there were only 3 of those stocks counted in the survey...impressive medal count for that stock then.
Agreed… but I think the biggest factor in the results is the shooter! Someone could hand me the “best” configured rifle based on the equipment list and I’d still get my butt kicked! You ought to include the gunsmith on the top 10 listing what they used. There might be 30 of something used but they were the bottom 30 but they were the ones that responded on the survey. Could be misleading when you just list numbers on some of those charts
No doubt about that i just cant get used to an equipment list that doesnt say who built the actual equipment and doesnt really say upfront what the actual winners used only there was whatever number of whatever component. Like i said there could be more factory savages in the match than any other combo and at first sight it may seem boy them savages were on fire, then you see they were the majority on the second or third pageAgreed… but I think the biggest factor in the results is the shooter!
