Personally I'd almost rather have match results that included two extra columns - 'T' and 'R' (Target # & Relay) for each of the individual sub matches.

Yes Sir! Shooting on target 50 something and target 90 something at Ben Avery are two different worlds. Or either end of Raton against the middle for that matter.

Looking at what the top 5 guys used is worthless in my opinion. In realty, whoever won almost certainly would have won with a trued Remington and a weaver 36x. The specific gear used is so, so much less important than the type of gear used, and how it is used together, which equipment lists don’t really get into. The distinction between a Bat and a Borden is not something I’d advise a new shooter to think much about. At least not in terms of being competitive.

To be clear, I don't intend on hitting the order button on components from the top 5, send them to Wheeler, then show up to SWN 2020 in a jersey and wrapped jacked up F-350 expecting to win

I get that a lot of people want to push the "easy button" and then magically get world-class results, but I am not of that people.

It seems that some posts believe that a list only serves a copy-cat purpose...I just want to see the brands represented and to what degree. Add the type of gear, how it's used, add in the target and relay. We certainly don't have to limit data. There's variables, such as sponsorship or inaccuracies, that degrade confidence in any compiled data set

I'm not an industry stud like some of you. I make my living collecting and analyzing data for companies. I'm naturally going to look for data from SWN or any match.
