How is the weather looking?
Terrible but it changes hourly.

I don't envy the job of weatherman in Missouri. They can barely tell you what happened yesterday.

We are going to shoot, even if it rains. At the Regional, the forecast showed it was going to be horrible, but we got in the entire match and never got wet.

Be prepared for all weather and it will be much more enjoyable.

No rain coming from the southwest for the rest of the week. We’re looking at 30 mph winds on Friday though. That might make it to Mo. on Saturday. Good luck to all that are shooting.

Ryan,

Sure enough - I got called out and have to fly Friday till late night, so I'll not make it up. I sent you a PM as well - hate it when work screws up my shooting. Hope weather gives you'll a break and everyone has a great match.

Jim

Caught a few for the fryer! Only 88 1/2 lbs. after dressing you have less than 1/2 the weight in skinned and less than 1/3 in fillets. I estimate 20-25lbs meat, so then you factor 1/2 lb per person with sides unless your feeding Lamey then all this doesn’t work.

Good job captain (for those that don't know this is when Mike used to dress nice)

I've had a few questions about if the match will go on despite the weather. The answer is yes.

There is zero threat we won't be able to access the range due to flooding. The creek will need to rise 17' in the next 2 days for that to happen.

The current, but ever changing forecast shows rain Saturday afternoon and through the evening. If we need to reduce the number of matches, we will, but the show will go on.

I have a ridiculous amount of trophies, medals, and door prizes to give out, and would love to reclaim the space in my house.

Pop ups can be setup behind the firing line if you want to keep your stuff dry in between matches. I will be using one while cooking the fish.

Bring some rain gear and be prepared to start promptly at 8 am on Saturday. Squadding will be ready by 7:30 am.

Good luck everyone! Would be there but on way to NC for Practice and Fullbore Nats. Sadly lost a wheel while driving in NC about 2hrs ago. Crap!
