2017 F-Class Match Schedule - Bucksnort Shooting Club: Marshall, MO

Need to pick his brain some. Just bought an Ipilot and gps/sidescan depthfinder and can't figure out how to use it.

Huh. I would have started with a 5" Ugly Stick, A Shimano Ultralight Open-face reel, 110 yd of clear Berkley Trilene 2 lb test, some swivels, and about 50 of the 1/32 oz. Beetlespin lures in every color possible. But that's just me ;).

Speaking of food. Stayed over night at Cape Girardeau. I thought surely this far into Missoura I'd be above the grit line where grits on the menu ain't gonna happen. Hotel breakfast bar and Cracker Barrel have grits. Wonders never cease. Lol.

LMAO, there's a grit line? You should be crossing it eventually and heading into some rain Frank, I just bought new wipers for the drive from the east on hwy 70. Looks like rain on that route. Be safe and see you soon.

And then there was the supper. I want the recipe to the garlic new potato salad. Boy was it good. Ryan and company can fry some fish too. I hurt myself on the fried crappie.

It's all over but the shouting. Congrats to all the winners. And a special thanks to all involved in running the match. Worth every mile from and to Georgia. Always a pleasure to see old friends and meet new ones.

The don't piss off ER doctor story was a treat to hear again.

Very special thanks to Vortex for the fantastic door prize riding home with me - a Golden Eagle ECR-1. Now I just might have to build a backup rifle. Lol.

I heard a rumour that you and the scope have rented a motel room? Lol Thanks for driving up to see us Frank. You can't bring enough backup rifles some days! Lol
Well run match again by Ryan Cokerham! The prize table just kept going with great stuff given out by drawing names randomly. I think we were done around 4 pm or shortly after.

Ryan and the crew put on another stellar match, well done! Any chance I might have had of being in the running in F-TR was really over before it hardly even started, but it just doesn't seem to matter much when you get to shoot with a group of folks as nice as these. One of the competitors described the MO State F-Class match as being very much like a family get together. That's probably the best way to sum it up that I've yet heard. Congrats to all the winners, that was some very fine shooting this weekend! Happy to have been a part of again this year!

Great job Ryan and MO......what a great match. The food, people, prizes, competition, and the hospitality! This was a perfect way to spend the weekend we celebrate our independence, eating awesome food, meeting awesome new friends from MO, TX, LA, AK, TN, NE/CA, GA, and shooting guns. A big thanks to Sierra for taking care of us with transportation to the pits, water, donated prizes, and all you guys do for our sport. Greg said it well quoting someone who compared it to a family get together. I've just started getting out this year and traveling to matches outside KY. This one and The Sierra Cup are both at the top! An old bourbon description in KY to describe the best...."Top Shelf" goes for the match and people!

Nice shooting Brian, and David. What exactly is your tac40? Where does it fall in line with the other BR improved cases?
That TAC40 falls between the BRDX and Dasher, extra neck length is what I was after because of the importance to me for proper throating. The neck is about .040" longer than the Dasher, and does not hinder performace from loss of case capacity.
Removal of .020" off the bottom of a Redding Dasher die and a standard Dasher seater puts you in business.
