While having dinner Saturday evening with my wife Judy, who accompanied me to the match, she commented how nice and friendly everyone was. “No wonder you enjoy this so much”, she also said.

Mr. Muller you are an inspiration to all. I hope I am able when I am your age. And tell Judy thank you for spending time and playing with our little boy. That was a long weekend for a seven year old being the only kid out there.

I keep looking at the score sheet, and find the shooting by everyone to be amazing. However, the top F-Open shooters’ scores are mind boggling; at least to rather inexperienced guy as I am.

Starting with Mike dropping just one point each day (wonder if he was trying to be nice?), Kevin just two and one, Joe just one and three but with 110 X’s (!), Dan five and ZERO (is his 2nd day 800 a record?), and James five and one.

Also, there were 36 perfect 200’s, if I counted correctly, of which nine were scored during the first match of the second day, and one of these 200’s by Russell in F-T/R!

Amazing shooting, guys!

Geez Louise!!! Nine clean in one string! Wow,,,,,,, and while I'm glad I was able to shoot a couple of cleans and actually won Match 1, I was shooting way over my head, but it sure was fun and an honor to be included in this match! This was a fun, well-run match that I will attend at every opportunity! Congratulations to everyone that attended and to those that met their shooting goals for the weekend.

Not only that, but as you may remember, the targets were more difficult to see in that particular match (1st Sunday) due to the slight lingering fog and the accumulation of gun smoke that settled in front of the firing line.
