2013 Arizona State Palma Championship

David, Allan and I are only separated by one point or a few X's. It's anyone's game. I couldn't buy an X at the 1000 yard line. When I went to the pits, there was a ring of pasters around the X. ::) [br]
David was on another relay and I was in the pits when he was shooting at 1000. It was likely pretty tricky. Although chilly in the morning, the sun warmed us after about 10 and the wind was mild but twitchy and unpredictable. It's forecast to be a little friskier tomorrow.

Allan Rosenthal is shooting very good as well. Looks like all three of them (Allan, Steve, and David) are going to battle it out till the end.

Any time you can score that well, even in relatively calm conditions is GREAT shooting>>>under adverse conditions shows the prowess y'all have at this sport! My hat is off!!

Also, take note of Steve Lockwood's excellent F-TR scores. Steve hung with the F-Open shooters until 1000 and he's still just a few points back. Outstanding shooting with his .308.

Steve, unless I am missing something>>>I can't distinguish what's F-Open, F-T/R or Sling or whatever... There does not appear to be anything on the score sheets to let us know what's what.. It seems most everyone had a pretty good day all in all!

The first page in the F-Class pic is Open, the second is F-TR. The sling pic is all sling shooters separated by classification.

Day 2 was better for some than others. This is why these things are multiple days.

Young Ryan Hayes shot well on Day two... Match Winner with a 448-25X.. Smokin. Beat a few current and former Palma Team shooters along the way!! Wow. Good for him.

That was his first Palma match I believe. What an awesome score.

The wind was not my friend. Talk about total and utter destruction....

Thanks Eric, it's been a real horse race so far. Today decides it. Stay tuned ;D

Davis Gosnell took F-Open, Steve Lockwood won F-TR and Bob Gustin held on to take the Palma Rifle victory.

I agree. It is exciting. I wouldn't mind watching the shot by shot on DVD either. And I don't mean for free either.

It was a great event ;D. Challenging conditions over three days. David shot a great match and it wasn't decided until the end of the day. Congratulations David! I was happy to take 2nd. I couldn't catch him. I'll be on his tale next time ;)

See you at the Berger match ;D

Allan.

Allan.
The thing that really makes first place worth so much is to have one hot shootin' sumbitch right on your tail. With you there he knew he couldn't falter
Congrats to you both
