Hellgate Civilian Shooters Association will be hosting three match weekends this 2012 competition season. Matches are held at the Deep Creek Rifle range, which is located within a few minutes of Missoula, MT. The range is located in a mountain valley at 3500 feet and is surrounded by mountains and pines. The range is a terrific place to compete and affords some of the best conditions in our Northern Rockies region. Over the last few years, we have seen several NRA national records established by shooters competing in both F-Class and Palma at Deep Creek. The bench rest shooters that compete there have set some very impressive records for small groups/scores at 1000yds as well.
Our first weekend of events is very busy with shooting opportunities and includes an NRA 2700 pistol match, XTC team match with a clinic hosted by the former coach of the All National Guard Rifle Team, XTC, long range and F-Class matches. The Montana State Servie Rifle Championship sponsored by White Oak Armament and Sadlak Industries is a three day event capped by an EIC "Leg" match. Lastly, the Northern Rockies Long Range and F-Class Regional will be held in September and will include a team match starting Friday afternoon. The regional is sponsored by US Tactical Supply and Berger Bullets. There is a limit of 52 shooters and the regional has been sold out the last two years. Preregistration is required.

Friday, May 25th: 2700agg NRA pistol match*
Saturday, May 26th: Off hand clinic followed by XTC team match (Or: 2700agg NRA pistol match*)
Sunday, May 27th: XTC 80 shot match, plus 15 shot 800 yd match
Monday, May 28th: Palma format LR/F-Class matches 450 agg.
* NRA 2700 pistol match will have relays for you to shoot either Friday or Saturday.
June 22-24th, 2012 Montana State Service Rifle Tournament - NRA and CMP registered
Friday, June 22nd (13:00 start time): M1A State Championship (all service rifles welcome)
Saturday, June 23rd: 800 agg XTC and 15 shot 800 yard match
Sunday, June 24th: Team match, using Presidents 100 format
Sunday, June 24th (after team match): EIC Rifle match.
September 21-23rd Northern Rockies Long Range and F-class Regional – NRA registered regional sponsored by Berger Bullets
Friday, September 21st (13:00 start time): Team match using Palma format
Saturday, September 22nd: Day 1 regional - Palma format followed by 20 shot 1000yd match
Sunday, September 23rd: Day 2 regional - Palma format
