my problem is getting some h4198 or rel7, what i am trying to do is to keep my origanal powders until i can get 4198 or rel7. i need some help!!!! heres my list

tdoyka, Of the powders you have, I believe Benchmark is your best bet. Benchmark is a little slower than most prefer for 32 to 40 gr. bullets and thus 20 Vartarg loads for it are not easy to find. The 4th. post down (Aug. 7, 2008) in the following link shows a 20 Vartarg Benchmark load for the 40gr. V-Max that per the poster was published in the Dec. 2007 Handloader magazine.

PS: If your 20 Vartarg barrel has a 1 in 12" twist, stabilization of the 40gr V-Max may be marginal.
