dedogs is correct. My 20 VT reamer is the old standard one TK recommended for Rem .221 Fireball brass. It is a .232" neck and .050" freebore. For Lapua brass PTG recommended a .2335" neck and .010" freebore...3752" base @ .200 line. As Sherm said .234-.235" neck should work fine for No-turn Lapua brass, but also consider the base at .200 line for Lapua brass. I've run into this problem with my 20/250 trying to use Lapua brass. The base of the brass was the problem. Finally had to get a small base RCBS die to run the Lapua 22/250 brass through to make it work. Still a pain! Good luck on your project. 7315br

I've heard of people having that "bolt click" with Lapua brass. One thing you might want to consider is VT brass out of LC 223 brass.

I seem to remember there was a difference @ the .200 line also. dedogs

My reamer is a .234 nk 0 fb and @ .200 above base is .377 compared to original .374

I’m using Lapua 221 fireball brass and 32gn vmax’s
