20 Practical Reloading Issue

Your using Lapua brass numbers(dia) throws me off, my dia/bushings/mandrel several thou smaller with Rem,Win,PMC and lake city brass.

I sent my sizing die to Jim Carstensen to be honed. He did a die conversion for me several years ago that worked very well.

Late to the party, but .228 bushing here, no-turn, made from .223 Lapua. That is supposed to give me .003 neck clearance.

I neck sized a couple of cases with a .228 bushing (dummy rds) and they fit in the gun and were pretty snug and worked OK. I may turn .001 off of the neck and use the .228. I hope that solves the problem.

Got the die back and that solved the problem. JLC Precision. Good service and prompt turn around. Jim did a die conversion for me several years ago and it also worked well.
