20 practical neck die?

After shooting the practical for a couple of years now im very impressed at its performance.

Accuracy has been great as well, however I find that I have to trim my brass (remington) quite often. Im putting this down to using a full length type s bushing die all the time.

Is there going to be any benefit in getting a type s bushing neck die to stop? Will it have any effect on accuracy and the frequency I trim?

Not sure what type of rifle you're using, or if you're using more than one rifle in 20 Practical.

The neck size/full length size is a pretty spirited debate, here's my .02 fwiw.

If you're using a round in just one gun, and it's a bolt, neck sizing is the way to go. You fire-form your brass to you're chamber and then it's set.

Here's how it works out in my 20 Practical using type s bushing neck die, I have no measurable brass stretch.

The above are three shots each at 100 yards, the following are at 200 yards:

The last pic is six shots, the flyer was my fault, I got bit by a bug.

Nice groups

Mine arent quite that small, but they are well under 1/2 inch if I do my part. It is a hunting gun so I dont shoot off anything but a bipod. If I benched it, maybe it would be better.

Yes its only 1 rifle and yes a bolt action. Will order a type S neck die then!
