20 Practical loading

Has anyone played with 33 gr bullets for the 20 practical?

I'm received my 20 cal decapping rod but it won't thread into my 223 die, I have my rifle and can't form the brass. I plan on calling redding and see what they say.

I'm received my 20 cal decapping rod but it won't thread into my 223 die, I have my rifle and can't form the brass. I plan on calling redding and see what they say.

I assume it's a Redding .20 decapping rod. If it is, and if it won't start in the threads, you could return it or take a magnifying glass and inspect the threads for a burr or rolled over thread. A small file or die nut could fix the problem.

Yes. I believe on the S type for 20's and 17's the threads step down one size, from like 10-32 to 8-32.
