20 moa scope base raises the front right?

I'm close to the barrel now. Will a 20 moa rail move the front of the scope away from or closer to the barrel?

Front goes down.
Making you raise your POA to be on target at longer range.

Remember though, that the scope base itself will be raising the entire body of the scope
up to some degree, if you don't have a scope base now.

I tried a 20 moa mount and it changed my cheek weld on the stock I had since the back of the scope sits a little higher.

I ended up using Burris rings with the different sized inserts that let you adjust the scope within the rings, up, down, left, right.

Ended up selling that rifle and put the scope on an AR.

The slope is under 1/10" per foot
Any perceptible change in height of either the front or rear of the scope is more likely due to the general thickness of the mount than the 20 moa tilt

Or you could go with an EGW base.
I run their 20 MOA one piece base.
They are tall.
With low rings i can run a 50mm objective no problem.
Dependant upon barrel contour, i've run low rings with my Sightron SIII 10-50X60.
