I need help from some experienced builders/shooters/loaders in choosing the correct reamer dimensions for a .204 wildcat project. I have two reamer prints on hand. One is a 0 lead and the other is an .035. If I understand correctly, the lead and throat dimensions need to be added to the distance for the 45* bevel angle, which is .013 in this instance. In addition the reamer prints that I have list my parent .222 Rem case as 1.712 oal. I assume this additional .012 is intended to provide clearance at the end of the neck as usually the cases get trimmed to 1.700. If I am following all this correctly, this .012 must then be added to the .035 plus the aforementioned .013 for the angle. All this ads up to .060 total. Now, my desire is to be able to seat the lighter, 30, 32 and 33gr bullets so that they will be able to reach the rifling,0 clearance) while still maintaining about .200 minimum in the neck. I would also like to be able to load 40's without having them seated too terribly deep. Should I use a zero lead, .035, or something in between? Thanks, Peter
