.20 Cal fun

I have a set of forming/necking dies coming. How about a 6BR Long or 20BR long? Around Dasher capacity but a decent length on the neck? Just moosh them down from 243 or 308 or '06. Whatever has been accumulated over the years. I have a big batch of WW virgin '06.

How about a 20-250 55 Bergers at 3850 you can user Lapua brass and a lot less case forming. I'm running a 9 twist for both the 20br and 20-250

What powder/barrel combo are you using to achieve that velocity?

26" Pacnor H4350 Lapua brass and Fed210GM primers

Yep, 1-8 twist

Yep 8 twist sounds logical for 55s I shoot a 9 twist Shilen in 204 with 50 grainers. I havent tried 55s in the 9 twist. I beleive Berger recomends 8 twist for the 55 g. I wondered how long it would take people to kneck the 6x 47 down to 20. My local gun shop had this cartrage on the counter 3 or 4 years ago. I kinda thought it was overkill but why not. He had the custom dies etc. Lots of powder for a little twenty. His partner was into 17 and even 14 cal. The bullets so small I couldnt reload them! Interesting , cartrage would like to see in action sometime!

I'm shooting the 55's in 9 twist barrels with no problems

Rich If I locate some I will give them a try. I thought Berger suspended production on the 55 for a while tru the shortage?

They just did a run of the 55's. They were snapped up like everything else these days......
