The most accurate rifle i`ve sold............. :(

Rem 700
VLS Stock piller bedded
Jewell trigger
PacNor 12 twist Rem Varmint Contour
Moly`d 39gr BlitzKings
Benchmark powder
5 shot accuracy in the high ones, repeatedly.

Should have never sold that one...... :'(

A friend of mine has a .20BR. It is the most consistently accurate rifle I have ever shot, and I've shot a lot of BR rifles. Wish he would sell it to me ;)

Had one......used it for 1250 rds....a heavy table gun p/dog set up...

9 Twist for 55 Bergers...P-N tube..Savage target action..

Too bad Hornady doesn't build a 50+ grain V max bullet in the 20

The 20BR just didn't trip my trigger...my 20 PT shot just as well...

with 5 grains less powder....the BR tube was rechambered for the

I've got one on a Panda action and Russo stock, 26" 1-11t barrel.

Runs the 39g Blitzkings at 4300, works pretty well on groundhogs.

A lot of my varminting has gravitated towards a .20 Practical, over my .223 and .243 (and 6BR on occasion). I too have been eying the 20 BR as a means of more .20 cal speed. Are the 4,200 - 4,300 velocities you guys are getting "max" loads? That is impressive!

I can actually push mine harder, I've gotten 4400 over the chrono and had faint pressure signs, could have gotten another 50-100 out of it. My original goal was 4k, but when developing the load I found 2 really nice nodes at 4220 and 4300 and just chose the faster one. The rifle is for groundhogs out to 500yds, it won't get the work out that a prairie dog rig will, maybe 20-30 rounds an outing as we bring other rifles for longer ranges.

Is it a barrel burner, yeah but I'm not shooting groups with it, just groundhogs, it'll only last 2 maybe 3 seasons but it's pure speed demon fun.

That`s what i was using,never chrono`ed it though.

IF i remember correctly i was using 29.6gr. with moly`d 39 B Kings.

It`s been a couple years, so i may be off a bit.....

Phil.

I told you there was a chance i was off by a bit......lol.... :o

That load is smokin` in your rifle.

Phil.

P.S. Are you running your boolitz nekkid or coated???
