20 br load info

Have tried to find loads for the 20BR with 55 Bergers and no luck.
Several of my fellow shooters are using 29 grains or so of N540 and RL15. But would like to find a powder that fills the case better. These loads with the Bergers are really accurate and very flat shooting. Good luck.

If you use the search function for 20br you will find all the data on this forum. Also plenty of info on Saubier.com. I have tried almost every suitable powder with the 55 Bergers except the VV powders. Reloader 15 and 17 are the only two I could get consistently accurate groups out of. My loads are 30.2 R15 and 31.7 R17. Start lower and work up. Both of my rifles like the bullets at the lands or jammed.

Has anyone tried Ramshot in a BR. I was hoping to use that with 57gr umissigs.

PM voldoc02 just like I typed it. He just put one together and posted some pics of his groups. Looks impressive to me. Hes shooting the 20 cal 55gr Beger also.

30.5 grains of RL-15 for me, but this is a "on the edge" hot load for me. This load gets me to about 3640 fps with the 55's.

I tried to find a good milder load but my groups opened up, so I went back to the hot load.

I have heard some great things about RL-17. I have tried just about all conceivable powder except for 17......going to try that soon.

I am in the process of gathering components for another 20BR build and have my sights set on RL-17.
