Any .20-222 shooters here???

I`m curious what powder you are getting best results and velocities with.

I know RL15, BLC-2 and Varget will probably perform well for you. they all work very well in my 204 ruger using 39gr BKs. moving the 39gr BKs at 4050 fps from a 26" barrel using BLC2 or RL15. of course IMR4895 always seems to give awesome accuracy in all my varmint rifles, just doesnt meter well and is more temp sensitive.

just run down your burn rate chart and pick one AT or a little FASTER than the powders i listed and give it a shot. wouldnt go any slower. you never know whats gonna work for you. good luck.

Excellent accuracy and good velocities with H4198 and 32gr. projectiles.

Benchmark, Reloader 10x, H335. I've heard Hodgdon's CFE does pretty good.

I have 4 Rifles chambered in the 20-222 and after trying most of the powders mentioned, I settled on H-4198 for the very best accuracy and top velocity. Its hard to beat. I have used it now for 3 years in the Prairie Dog Towns out west as well as on Coyotes and Groundhogs. I like the 40 Gr. V-Max best for all three applications....George

H-4198 & BLc(2) were two of the best powders for the old triple duce (222 Rem) for accuracy. Used on the short range benchrest circuits for many years. Should work fine in 20-222.
