IL dnr requires AR pistol to be single shot for deer hunting. Have sled for 300AAC mag but wanted side 2 shot holder in case need followup shot. Who makes it? Where to buy? See this on prs rifles on tv but need info. Glue/Velcro 2 shot holder to outside of mag?? Thanks Steve

Kinetic Research Group (KRG) & Modular Driven Technologies (MDT) both make polymer versions now, too. They will require some modification to your receiver to attach though. Also possible to mount them with MLok on the hand guard.

SAP holder is elastic banding and attaches via sticky backed Velcro. Works well, but many people don’t like the look of it. I would say that it is more functional than the polymer versions above. Much easier to pull a round from in quick fashion.

Just get the original from Short Action Precision. They invented it. They are good people. They also support the shooting community and matches. Tired of knock-offs.
