1885 1 piece base ?

Wincherster 1885 Highwall 220 swift Talley makes a 1 piece base for a $100 bucks . Leupold makes a 2 piece base for less than 1/2 that price . Which is best ?

I chose the 2 pc. on my high wall because it looks much better.

One of my 1885s has the barrel screwed on a degree or two off. It’s very noticable on close inspection. Mine have the octagonal barrels and I wouldn’t want to bridge from the barrel to reciever if the alignment were nearly perfect, and then I still would think of bedding the base. The rifle with the crooked barrel got Burris Signature rings and it shoots great.
