180gr SGC

Was going to load some of these in my 30-06 but when I used the hornady oal tool the short throat set this bullet incredibly deep into the case .
Enough so I didn’t like the looks of it as the only load data I could find was for SGK .
Which sets no where’s as deep as the GC .
So not knowing what would be a safe starting load , decided to pass .
So I loaded it in 300 weatherby since they set bullets deep anyway .
Haven’t tried it yet .
Anybody got experience with this situation with the 30-06 ?

I loaded the 180g SGK and the Nosler BT in a 30/06 with great success in accuracy. I shot a hot load of H4350 in Win brass.

I want to try some R#26 with these 180g Weights

Accuracy is 5/8" in my Rem factory sporter barrel with a Gentry muzzle break.
