175 TMKs are secant ogive, 175 OTMs are a tangent ogive. When pointed, the 175 OTM might have a very slight edge in BC, but they're really so close as to be not worth mention. Due to the tangent ogive, the 175 OTMs are very forgiving with regard to seating depth, the TMKs may be a little more sensitive. Other than that, it's a virtual tossup. Unless there is some reason they won't work for you, I'd rather load up some 185 Juggernauts over either of these choices and call it a day.
I read from Litz test that 175 TMK also has higher bc than Berger 175 LRBT
I currently use 175 OTM which poiting with standard rem 700 gun. From Litz: 175 TMK - G7 BC = 0.266, 175 OTM - G7 BC = 0.263; increase by 3% for pointing and voila, you have G7 BC = 0.271. As I'm sure you know, TMKs have a pointed plastic tip out of the box, the OTMs do not. Pointing the OTMs "evens" the comparison.
So pointed 175 OTMs will have a slightly lower BC if not pointed, slightly higher if you do point them, exactly as I stated above. In either case, the difference is so small as to be almost meaningless. You're not going to notice a difference of .003 BC, which may not even exist in reality due to Lot-to-Lot variation. So it's a virtual tossup between the two in terms of performance and whichever one shoots the best is probably the only reasonable way to distinguish one over the other.
I currently use 175 OTM which poiting with standard rem 700 gun.
Just looking for the new 175 TMK which has little higher bc and cheaper
