OK, so the first one is a bait & switch, so no go on that.

Second one still looks possible, altho' no angled mirror...

Though the add says .177 cal. It won't fit a 17 cal barrel. .20 cal and larger. Bummer !

Have you eliminated the Teslong borescopes?
They have been pretty popular in the shooting world for a couple of years now.

Hawkeye makes a 17 cal or they did.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. Teslong has not offered a 17 cal version that I am aware of, but when you opened up to that 3.9mm I thought it would be a better suggestion to consider the Teslong instead of the one you showed.

@squirrelsplitter The info says the side mirror won't work on a 17 cal. Can you confirm that? Thanks. That may be my next choice if the Amazon scope is really crappy.

The side mirror will not fit in the .172 bore. If you scope the barrel from both ends you will see any issues.
Hawkeye is another option.

I've used a standard Hawkeye with the outer sleeve holding the mirror removed. Push a Q tip down in front of the lense to give the light something to reflect off of and it works pretty well

so the 3.9mm scope is pretty much worthless to me. Without a side mirror, there's really nothing to see and it's focused way too far away from the lens, and no adjustment. So, a fail as far as a 17 cal bore scope. It's getting some more highway miles today, headed back to Amazon.

But I still got that itch..........

I bought a Vividia GB-4180 from oasis scientific that works pretty good. Like the other example listed above - mirrors won't fit in a .17. The guy that sold it to me said that it won't fit some 17's but it has worked in mine.
