Hawkeye Bore Scope

Has anyone tried using the Hawkeye Bore scope on a .204 Ruger (20 Caliber)???

I'm thinking of purchasing the Borescope but I would like to use it on the 204 Ruger .....

I emailed the company and they said the scope probe diameter was .188 but that they had never tried to use the scope on 20 caliber....several ads list min as .22 cal???

Mine works fine down to 20 cal, but I don't think it would go into a 17 with the 90* mirror sleeve on it.

Yes, they work fine with a 20 cal. Was an eyeopener for me when I saw some serious firecracking on my Hart barreled 204 Ruger chambering at 750 rounds fired.

My friend let me use his to look at the throat in my Savage LRPV 204. He also let me use it to look at his Cooper.I now see why it takes me twice as long to clean my rifle than it does for my friend to clean his Cooper. My Savage looks like it was done with a hack saw. His cooper is as smooth as glass.

When I can afford one, I will definitely be getting one.

when you get your borescope replace the light source before or after the light bulb quits with an led mini maglite. the led is GREAT! the brightness is excessive for my eyes but you can turn it down. the led will last a LONG time.
